Most single-lever taps need clearance behind them — you lift the lever back to turn the water on, and if there's a splashback or upstand in the way, they simply don't fit. The Malvern's valve does away with that entirely: full control with no backward movement, so it sits flush against the wall and installs where a standard tap won't go. A small piece of engineering that solves a real, common headache.

Beyond the clever valve, it's simply a good-looking traditional tap — balanced proportions, a soft polished-nickel finish, and a porcelain side lever that moves smooth and single-handed. The spout swings a full 360° to reach the whole sink. At home in a traditional kitchen and just as comfortable in a modern one.

The porcelain side lever comes as standard, with alternative colour levers available separately — so it coordinates with granite worktops, coloured cabinetry or whatever's around it, rather than fighting them.

One smooth movement handles flow and temperature together — no fuss, no two-handed fiddling. The lever feels solid and deliberate, the spout swings freely, and the water comes through soft and full instead of splashing everywhere. Easy to live with, day in and day out.
