It has real weight to it — solid brass, hand-turned on a lathe, so the edges are crisp and the base sits clean against the door. The brass is recycled, which makes it a more considered choice without costing anything in feel or finish. The kind of detail people don't consciously notice but do register: the cabinet just looks more finished.

Keeping it right

Wipe with a clean microfibre cloth for everyday marks. For a deeper clean, use a warm, low-pH neutral soapy solution with a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly. The lacquered finish keeps it looking right for years.
